Our new thing :)

Bikes!!!
Yep you heard that right
All 6 of us now own a bike.
L is still learning so she's not riding out on the long rides,
instead shes sitting comfy here.

Hubby & J have been going out almost everyday together.
C is riding to & from school and to gf's house.
A just got his today so lets see how much he uses it.
As for my self, today was my first ride.
(my butt is sore)

I'm totally excited.
This is so good for us.

and it's back

The rain that is, I'm totally feeling it & I don't like it :(

~C had his first CC meet and ran in at 23.03. Not bad for the first meet of the season.
He's also in swimming for PE and riding his bike if its not raining. We joke that he's training for a triathlon
~A is doing football this year, bruises, cuts and ice packs.
The doc cleared him to play on his ankle, no pt required but hey here's the kicker, the boy is flat footed-like badly- we go in for insert fittings on Wednesday.
~J is doing very well in school, coming home hungry but doing homework just fine and actually liking the parent drop off/pick up line.
~L, oh L, the little thing is obsessed with nick jr.com games.
After eating and getting back home "I play on computer mommy"
How much is too much?

Hopefully tomorrow night we'll rent a movie with the big boys after the little ones go down.

Chips~

Oil for frying

pot/pan/deepfryer

strainer/papertowels

10 corn chips
salt

Heat oil

cut chips
half into quarters
half into thirds

fry chips until golden

Strain & salt

Dip~

Dash of

salt,pepper,red pepper flakes

1Tbs minced garlic

2Tbs minced onion

2 Tbs sour cream

1 avocado

(you can sub sourcream out for another avocado)

mix mix mix

Serve & enjoy!

Family Fun Friday ~ a bit different

I babysat most of the day - it was nice.

The little ones really took to the baby and we all sat around playing on the floor.

It's been awhile since we've done that.

Then after the 2 little ones went to bed C & I sat up,

I helped & watched as he made Birthday Presents for C (his GF).

A bit different but nice :)

Positive Thinking Thursday ~ Yoda pt2

Well today Yoda went to a new home.
I know it sounds a bit odd.
He wasn't listed or posted anywhere.
I actually had an ad up "looking for the Original owner of...." on the same site I got him from.
Out of nowhere I get a message "I'm not the Original owner but I'd sure take him"
So after a few emails & a meet up, Yoda is on his way to a good home.
He's temporarily at one home, said sister of the new owner, next weekend the sister will drive Yoda down to Oregon.
He'll be on 35 acres in a home with no children, a nice new mama who knows he needs work & is willing to take the time to do it.

update on kids dental

J was quick & easy he only had the two appointments and he was done.
L we had to save the big chunk of mulla and today was the day.
We got to the Children's Hospital at 6:30 this morning, by 8 she was a bit loopy from the first liquid meds, at 9:25 the Dr came out & said all went well but they did more work than planned.
Eecckk!!!
Four crowns went on just to be safe and four fillings too.
After She started to wake things turned a bit, she ripped out here IV, screamed and kicked and wouldn't stay with the recovery nurse, they brought her out to me & she slept for about 5-6 mins.
She awoke again ate an iceepop then started to turn mean again, she was kicking, screaming, throwing.
We finally bribed her with another iceepop to get dressed & go home.
Since she's been home she's had all she can eat applesauce & yogurt, just now she had a bread roll. All has held down pretty good.
